NC3 Senior Pastor: Pastor Scott Frazier

Scott Frazier is the Senior Pastor and founder of New Covenant Christian Church in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. In 2006, Pastor Scott and his wife, Lisa, stepped out in faith to plant New Covenant Christian Church with a desire to build a church where people could encounter the presence of God, grow in their faith, discover their purpose, and become part of a genuine community of believers. Nearly two decades later, that same passion continues to shape his ministry and his heart for the people of Wilkes County and beyond.

Pastor Scott carries a strong apostolic gift that is evident in his preaching, teaching, and leadership, coupled with a genuine pastor’s heart for people. He has a deep desire to see individuals and families restored, strengthened, and equipped to live out the calling God has placed on their lives. Whether he is standing behind the pulpit, sitting across the table from someone seeking counsel, leading a ministry, or simply walking alongside someone through a difficult season, Pastor Scott is committed to serving people and pointing them toward Christ.

Pastor Scott and Miss Lisa were married in 1986 and moved to Wilkesboro in 2002. Before planting New Covenant, Pastor Scott served as Music Pastor at Cornerstone Church, where he continued to develop his passion for worship, music, and ministry. Their years of serving in ministry have given them a deep love for the local church and for the people they have been privileged to serve throughout the years.

Together, Scott and Lisa have two grown daughters, Meggin and Macy, who have both been actively involved in the music and media ministries at NC3. Family has always been an important part of their lives, and they consider it a privilege to serve the Lord together as a family and as a church family.

In addition to his pastoral ministry, Pastor Scott has spent decades working in music as a producer, songwriter, musician, and audio engineer. Since his early twenties, he has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Africa, and other parts of the world, both as a musician and as a minister. During his years with the singing group Higher Ground, he had the opportunity to minister to people across many different cultures and communities, experiences that have continued to influence his ministry and perspective.

Pastor Scott has produced and mixed music for thousands of artists and musicians throughout the decades and continues to use that gift today. At NC3, he operates a studio within the church where he produces and mixes the church’s albums, singles, and original music. His gift for songwriting is also an important part of the worship ministry at NC3, as he has written many of the songs that are regularly performed by the church.

Throughout his years in ministry, Pastor Scott has served local churches in a variety of capacities, both in ministry and administration. His experience has given him a unique perspective on the many facets of church life, from worship and creative ministry to leadership, pastoral care, and the day-to-day work of building a healthy church.

Above all, Pastor Scott is a shepherd. He is known for his willingness to counsel, encourage, listen, and walk alongside people through every season of life. He serves tirelessly and faithfully, with a genuine love for the people God has entrusted to his care. His desire is not simply to build a church, but to build people—to help others know Christ, discover who they are in Him, and become all that God has called them to be.

After decades of ministry, Pastor Scott remains passionate about the local church, worship, music, leadership, and most importantly, people. He and Lisa continue to pour their lives into New Covenant Christian Church and the surrounding community, believing that the church is called to be a place of hope, faith, restoration, and transformation.
